Director & Chief Vascular Sonographer
Vanessa is the Director and founder of Vascular Diagnostics. She completed a Bachelor of Forensic Biology in Biomedical Science at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and went on to be a medical scientist in blood bank at Royal Prince Alfred, Blacktown and Westmead Public Hospitals.
Vanessa went on to complete a Diploma in Medical Ultrasonography in Vascular through the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine. She completed her ultrasound training at Concord Repatriation Public Hospital, Liverpool Vascular Laboratory and St George Vascular Services. Vanessa has since worked at other vascular labs including Vascular Diagnostics at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney Vascular at St Vincent's Private Hospital and Bankstown Heart Clinic.
During her time at St George Vascular Services, Vanessa was given the opportunity to train other medical professionals in the field of ultrasound. It was during this time that she met Dr Ching-Siang Cheng, who is the vascular surgeon who supports the practice. Dr Cheng and Vanessa both shared the same vision of providing high quality vascular services to the people of Southwestern Sydney, leading Vanessa to open Vascular Diagnostics.
Vanessa has given many educational lectures at national vascular conferences and is currently honorary staff for the School of Medicine at the University of Western Sydney (UWS). She holds the position of Adjunct Fellow where she gives lectures and provides educational material for the Graduate Diploma in Vascular Sonography.
In her free time, Vanessa likes to get creative with her manicure, have her hair braided lots of bright colours, hang out with her cats and go to Muay Thai with her husband and friends.
Medical Liaison and Administration Officer
Lisl is a dedicated Registered Nurse who completed a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Wollongong (UOW).
Lisl chose to pursue a career in healthcare as she has always been fascinated by the human journey toward health and recovery. It’s the privilege of joining people during pivotal moments in their lives—guiding and supporting them as they improve their well-being—that truly drives her passion. Every day in nursing presents an opportunity to make a real difference, and it’s this unique ability to impact someone's health journey that inspired Lisl to dedicate her career to this field.
Lisl has built a solid foundation in healthcare, enriched by a variety of clinical experiences. Her nursing career began at Bondi Junction Private Hospital, where she honed her skills in providing high-quality patient care. Currently, she serves as a Registered Nurse at Doctors @ Liverpool,working alongside a dedicated multi-disciplinary team to deliver compassionate and comprehensive care to our patients.
In addition to her nursing role, she also works as a Clinical Liaison Officer at Vascular Diagnostics, where she bridges communication between healthcare providers and patients. In this capacity, she coordinates care, facilitates provider education to allied health professionals, and ensures that everyone receives the most appropriate diagnostic services.
Outside of Lisl’s professional life, she is passionate about live music, bouldering and food. Lisl is an Australian born Austrian and loves to cook traditional foods from scratch. Bouldering lets her challenge both her body and mind, and pushes her to problem-solve. These activities keep Lisl grounded and inspired, offering the perfect balance to her work in healthcare.

Vascular Sonographer
Hadi is a qualified vascular sonographer who completed the Graduate Diploma in Vascular Sonography at Western Sydney University (WSU).
He completed his undergraduate degree in Medical Science at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Hadi was inspired to become a vascular sonographer by his uncle who is a general sonographer, who he shadowed at CareScan in Fairfield.
During his ultrasound training, Hadi has had experience working in many different labs including St George Vascular Services in Kogarah, the Art of Vein Care in Gregory Hills, Eastern Suburbs Vascular Imaging at Prince of Wales Public Hospital and Sydney Vascular at St Vincent's Private Hospital.
Hadi is the Assistant Manager at Vascular Diagnostics Liverpool, Chief Vascular sonographer at Art of Vein Care in Gregory Hills and also assisting in starting a new Vascular lab in Kareena Private Hospital.
He is an Australian born Lebanese and speaks English and Arabic. In his free time, he likes to try new restaurants, exercise, travel and hang out with his dog.
Trainee Vascular Sonographer
Chloe-Lee is a trainee vascular sonographer at Vascular Diagnostics, currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Vascular Sonography. In 2024, Chloe-Lee completed her undergraduate degree in Medical Science, majoring in Anatomy and Pathology, at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Chloe-Lee is also a trainee at St George Private Hospital.
She was drawn to vascular sonography due to her strong interest in anatomy and the dynamic nature of ultrasound imaging. The ability to provide real-time, non-invasive assessments that directly impact patient care motivated her to pursue this specialised field.
During her training, she has gained experience in a variety of clinical settings, developing her skills in ultrasound imaging and patient care.
Passionate about health and well-being, Chloe-Lee enjoys traveling, exercising, and cooking in her free time. She values continuous learning and is committed to advancing her expertise in vascular ultrasound to provide high-quality diagnostic care for patients.
Vascular &
Endovascular Surgeon
Dr Ching-Siang Cheng is an Australian-trained Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon who supports the Vascular Diagnostics laboratory.
Dr Cheng completed his medical education at the University of Queensland and attained his Vascular Surgery Fellowship awarded by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Dr Cheng was subsequently awarded the prestigious Sam Mellick Travelling Fellowship by the Australian and New Zealand Society for Vascular Surgery, as well as the GB Ong Fellowship by the University of Hong Kong.
Dr Cheng is highly skilled in both arterial and venous interventions. He consults and operates at the Bankstown, Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals. He also consults privately one day a week at the Doctors@Liverpool clinic. He strongly believes in patient centered care and excellence in surgery.
His hobbies include triathlons, water polo, learning languages (he can speak 5 so far!), music, reading articles and spending time at home.
